During PTC’26 in Honolulu, the Nomad Futurist Foundation introduced something intentionally different to the digital infrastructure community.

The inaugural Mana Hui Leaders Connect was not designed as another networking reception but rather created as a purposeful gathering rooted in culture, collaboration, and long-term impact. For those in attendance, it was a reminder that how an industry comes together can be just as meaningful as what it builds.

A Thoughtfully Designed Experience

Set against the backdrop of Hawai‘i, Mana Hui — which reflects a coming together around shared purpose — brought industry leaders, advisors, ambassadors, emerging talent, and friends into a space designed for real conversation.

Rather than rushed introductions or transactional exchanges, the evening encouraged presence and perspective. Attendees engaged in discussions spanning AI, power density, sustainability, workforce development, and leadership, balanced by honest dialogue about responsibility, values, and the future we are collectively shaping.

The result was an environment where connections felt intentional, conversations went deeper, and relationships began to form beyond titles or organizations.

Community Over Competition, in Practice

One of the most defining elements of Mana Hui Leaders Connect was its emphasis on community over competition. Senior executives, industry veterans, and early-career professionals shared the same space, contributing equally to the dialogue. That intentional mix sparked meaningful outcomes:

  • Cross-sector conversations that rarely happen in traditional settings
  • New mentorship and collaboration opportunities
  • A shared understanding that the industry’s greatest challenges, and opportunities, require collective effort

It was less about exchanging business cards and more about exchanging ideas, experiences, and trust.

Aligning Values With Action

The Nomad Futurist Foundation’s commitment to sustainability was embedded into the event as a measurable action.

Mana Hui Leaders Connect was delivered in a carbon-neutral environment, with 131.5 tonnes of CO₂ emissions fully assessed and offset through verified credits meeting the Quality Assurance Standard for Carbon Offsetting (QAS).

For an industry increasingly focused on efficiency, resilience, and decarbonization, this approach reinforced a simple message: leadership is demonstrated through follow-through.

Why Mana Hui Matters and What Comes Next

Mana Hui Leaders Connect showcased what’s possible when intention meets action. We were proud to collaborate with our sponsors: Air2O Thermal Management, DataVerge, Mod42, Nortek Data Center Cooling, and ZincFive, whose support made the event possible and is helping shape the industry.

Attendees left energized and inspired, sharing that the connections, conversations, and insights gained were unlike anything they’d experienced before.
