The Nomad Futurist Foundation is excited to further launch its strategic collaboration with JLL, a global leader in real estate and data center solutions, to co-create and deliver high-impact educational content through the Nomad Futurist Academy.
The Academy is a free, fully online learning platform designed for students, emerging professionals, and even seasoned industry experts looking to deepen their understanding of the digital infrastructure ecosystem. It offers open access to engaging, expert-led content that demystifies the complex world of data centers and the technologies that support our digital lives.
As part of our shared mission to promote education and accessibility in this space, we’ve officially launched the first set of foundational modules in partnership with JLL, covering Introduction to Data Centers, Data Center Best Practices, Data Center Design and Raised Floors, CRAC Units, and Package Units.
These self-paced courses provide a thorough introduction to the essential systems and principles behind modern data centers, guided by professionals who have helped shape the industry. Upon completion, learners receive a certificate of achievement, validating their growing expertise and commitment to the field.
Looking Ahead: What’s Next for the Academy
As we look ahead through the rest of this year and into 2026, we’ll continue expanding the Academy with new modules and resources designed to advance your expertise and widen your perspective on the digital infrastructure landscape.
Upcoming launches include: Building and System Drawing, Cooling Tower, Chilled Water System, Variable Speed Drives, and Humidification and Leak Detection.
