New York, New York | July 29, 2026 – The Nomad Futurist Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to inspiring, educating, and empowering the next generation of digital infrastructure professionals, is proud to announce the official launch of the Nomad Futurist Fellowship, a new initiative designed to connect students and emerging professionals with the people, knowledge, and opportunities needed to build meaningful careers across the digital infrastructure industry.
The Fellowship provides aspiring professionals with direct access to mentorship from industry leaders, networking opportunities, career guidance, educational resources, volunteer experiences, and exclusive engagement with the Foundation’s global community. By becoming Fellows, participants gain a front-row seat to the rapidly evolving digital infrastructure ecosystem while building the relationships and skills needed to thrive in the industry.
The Foundation is also excited to announce that it has already welcomed its first 10 Fellows, marking an important milestone in its continued mission to strengthen the industry’s talent pipeline through education, exposure, and meaningful connections.
“The future of digital infrastructure depends on the people entering it today,” said Nabeel Mahmood, Co-Founder of the Nomad Futurist Foundation. “The Fellowship is about more than professional development. It’s about creating a community where the next generation feels supported, inspired, and equipped to pursue careers they may never have known existed. We’re thrilled to welcome our inaugural class of Fellows and look forward to watching them grow.”
The Fellowship is open to students and emerging professionals who are passionate about exploring careers across the digital infrastructure landscape, including data centers, cloud, AI, networking, fiber, energy, sustainability, cybersecurity, and the many disciplines that power our connected world.
As Fellows, participants will have opportunities to:
- Receive mentorship and career guidance from experienced industry professionals
- Build meaningful relationships with Foundation Board Members, Ambassadors, Advocates, and partners.
- Participate in exclusive networking events, educational programming, and industry discussions.
- Volunteer alongside the Foundation at conferences and community initiatives.
- Gain exposure to internships, scholarships, educational resources, and career opportunities.
- Become active contributors to the Foundation’s mission of building a stronger, more diverse workforce for digital infrastructure.
The Fellowship builds upon the Foundation’s growing workforce development initiatives, including the Nomad Futurist Academy, student programs, educator engagement, industry partnerships, conference experiences, and hands-on learning opportunities designed to introduce talent to one of the world’s fastest-growing industries.
