Ambassador Dan Ephraim Engages MBA and BSBA Students at Washington University’s Olin School of Business to Explore Careers in Digital Infrastructure
On March 31st, Nomad Futurist Foundation Ambassador Dan Ephraim had the privilege of spending a full day with MBA and BSBA students at Washington University’s St. Louis’s Olin School of Business, introducing them to the dynamic world of digital infrastructure.
Through interactive sessions, Dan guided students on topics including supply chain, real estate, energy, sustainability, community engagement, business models, and career pathways. Students arrived with strong foundations in financial analysis, go-to-market strategy, operations, and leadership, and Dan helped them explore translating their degree and skills into meaningful roles within the industry.
These students came in with frameworks for financial analysis, go-to-market strategy, operations, and leadership. Their foundation and understanding of these functions and disciplines were laid, and all that needed to happen next was to show them the career growth and optionality in Digital Infrastructure.
By the end of the day, students left the sessions energized and curious. Many requested tours of data centers in St. Louis and Virginia, eager to see the work in action. Their feedback highlighted the day’s impact:
“Eye-opening, and it has solidified my interest in pursuing a career in this space,” says one student from the experience (MBA 2026).
“Our discussion reinforced my interest in pursuing roles where I can bridge technical understanding with go-to-market strategy,” adds another student (MBA 2027).
For many students in the room, this was their first real introduction to this industry. That’s exactly why the work of Nomad Futurist matters: to opens doors, connect talent with opportunity, and help students see where they can make an impact.
These students are not just passive observers. They are future operators, strategists, and leaders, ready to step into the industry and shape its future.
