The Nomad Futurist Foundation is thrilled to join forces with one of the year’s most anticipated events: the DE-CIX Viva Las Vegas Social taking place at Yotta 2025. Held on Day 2 of the event, September 9 at 8:00 PM at Nellie’s inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, this social brings together purpose, connection, and celebration in true Vegas fashion.
We’re excited to build on our growing partnership with DE-CIX, a global leader in Internet Exchange services. Our collaboration is grounded in shared values: empowering the next generation of digital infrastructure leaders, creating equitable access to industry knowledge, and building bridges between today’s pioneers and tomorrow’s talent.
This evening is more than just a social gathering: it’s a reflection of our shared mission to drive meaningful, long-term impact in the digital infrastructure space. By supporting this event, we’re investing in a global community that values education, mentorship, and inclusive growth.
DE-CIX’s work powering interconnection across continents is foundational to building a digital future that is fast, inclusive, and resilient. Through joint initiatives with the Nomad Futurist Foundation, DE-CIX is helping provide students and emerging professionals with the access, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive in the industry. We’re proud to stand alongside them in this mission, and this event offers the perfect stage to celebrate it.
The Viva Las Vegas Social will be a high-energy, casino-inspired evening full of lively conversation, festive energy, great food, and an even greater audience. It’s also conveniently timed to follow the iMasons Awards Dinner, which begins at 6:30 PM, making it easy to attend both and enjoy a night of connection and celebration from start to finish.
Whether this is your first time at Yotta or you’re a longtime member of the infrastructure community, the social is a chance to make new connections, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate the momentum our industry is building together.
The Foundation will be there in full force. You can expect to see Co-Founders Nabeel Mahmood and Phillip Koblence, Managing Director Phill Lawson-Shanks, and Advisors Ilissa Miller, Santiago Suinaga, and Mark Gusakov. Also joining us will be Ambassadors Megan Baker, Imran Latif, and Scott Charter. We look forward to welcoming you into the Nomad Futurist community and sharing more about our mission to elevate the next generation of digital leaders.
